Sunday School Pep Rally - Preschoolers through 5th Graders - September 12
Children and their parents are invited to come out for a special Sunday School kick-off!  We will meet for pizza, popsicles and fun from 5:30-7pm.   Questions?  Email Sara Bloncourt. 

Grace Place - September 13
State Representative, Steve McCarter will present a program about setting up a new ID and the rules and requirements involved.  Lunch is served at noon followed by the programs at 12:45 pm.  Bring a friend and join us!  For more information visit our website.  

September 15:
Children’s Choirs ~ First Rehearsal ~ Come and Sing!
Rehearsals for Cherub Choir (4yrs-2nd grade) and Chapel Choir (grades 3-5), under the excellent leadership of Ruth Fuelleborn and Kevin Engleman, begin this Sunday from 9:30-10:20 am and continue each Sunday during the program year.   Please complete the online registration form for your child here.

Adult Education - GRACE-O  
Join us at 9:30 am in the Palmer Room for a fun-filled adult ed kick-off event in the style of Quizzo.  Participants will compete in the topics of:  Grace History, Old Testament, New Testament, and Grace Now! There will be prizes!!!  

Bibles to 3rd & 4th Graders
Bibles will be presented to our 3rd and 4th graders during the 10:30 worship service.  Please email Sara Bloncourt and let her know if your 3rd or 4th grader will be present to receive their bible.

Called Congregational Meeting
There will be a called congregational meeting this Sunday, at the end of the 10:30 worship service for the purpose of electing an elder and electing the 2019-20 Nominating Committee.  Dan Hayes has been nominated to fill a one-year term on the Session.  He is a member of the Stewardship & Administration Committee and has volunteered with the congregational fellowship suppers.  

Intergenerational Choir (IGC)  ~ First Rehearsal
Would you like to sing and fellowship through music with all of your family and church members of all ages? Then join the Intergenerational Choir (IGC).  We will lead in worship on Sunday, September 29, at 10:30.  We will rehearse this Sunday and again on September 22nd from 11:40 – 12:25.  All will need to attend the final rehearsal on Sunday Morning at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary.  Come and Sing!!!

Cathedral Ringers - First rehearsal from 11:45 am-12:30 pm, in the new bell room beside the choir room in the basement.  If you are interested in ringing with the bell choir please see Kevin Engleman or email  Valerie Clayton to express your interest.

Jenkintown Arts Festival
The Annual Festival of the Arts will be held this Sunday from 1:00-6:00 pm, rain or shine, in Jenkintown’s Old Town Square.  Grace will join this community event by sponsoring a booth with a balloon artist.  Please stop by when you are there to see some familiar Grace faces!

September 20:  Grace Place
Grace Place meets every Friday from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm in the Palmer Room. It’s a wonderful time of fellowship, food and fun for older adults.  Lunch is served at noon.  Bring a friend and join us!  For more information visit our website.

September 22:  Christmas Musical Try-Outs
Children, tweens and teens of all ages are invited to participate in the Christmas Musical on December 8 during the 10:30 worship service. Try-outs will be on Sunday, September 22 in the Chapel after the 10:30 service.  The audition is very easy! You will sing “ Happy Birthday” and read some dialogue from the play.  You can get a copy of the dialoge from Ms. Hull. Weekly rehearsals begin on Sunday, October 6 after the 10:30 service in the Chapel. If you are not able to audition on 9/22  and you wish to be a part of the musical just see Ms. Belinda Hull or Ms Valerie Clayton.

September 25:  Pastor’s Bible Study
Pastor Sandy Hull will be leading an eight-week Bible study on Wednesday evenings, starting September 25.  “Staying Strong in the Struggle” is the theme of 1 Peter, which is the New Testament book we’ll be studying.  No previous Bible study experience is required of participants, just a willingness to go verse-by-verse through the text and see how God wants to speak to us.  The study will be held in the Palmer Room from 7:00 – 8:10 pm.  

September 29: Dr. Greg Carey Presents "Reclaiming Revelation"
Join Dr. Greg Carey in his presentation "Reclaiming Revelation." Carey will preach at both services, present at Adult Ed and offer a lunch workshop following the 10:30 worship service.  To read Dr. Carey's bio, click here.  Sign up here for the lunch workshop.

October 5:  Save the Date! Student Ministry Fundraiser Contributors' Dinner
The time has come for Grace Student Ministry to say "Thank you!" to the people who have made our summer programming and mission trips possible! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5, 5:30-7 pm for a dinner that will be cooked and served by the youth, as well as the chance to hear more about our summer trips!

October 6:  Adult Education - The Belhar Confession
Join us at 9:30 am in the Palmer Room when Professor Dirk Smit will lead a session on The Belhar Confession.  Dr. Smit is the Princeton Theological Seminary Professor of Reformed Theology and Public Life.  He is an original author of The Belhar Confession, written in the 1980s to oppose apartheid in South Africa.  To read Dr. Smit's bio, click here.

October 20:  Dan Bellamy's Inflatable Stories
Mark your calendar!  Join us for this fun family event at 4 pm.  Dan Bellamy makes the Bible come to life with stories from our sacred text through the medium of balloons! November 10:  Rise Against Hunger
The GO Team will host our 2nd Rise Against Hunger meal packing event.  Help is needed for set up, clean up, advertising, food and more!  If you would like to serve at this event, please contact Bob MacFarland.
