This Week
March 28-April 3

Grace Place - March 29
You are what you eat! A healthy lifestyle begins with good nutrition. Lynn Sinclair, a nutritionist from Abington Hospital, will share her advice and expertise. Lunch is at 12:00 and the presentation will begin at 12:45.  Bring your questions, bring a friend and join us!

Wine and the Bible  - March 29
Whether it be a wedding toast or the communion cup, wine often accompanies life’s special and sacred moments. Come and join us as we experience the joy of food and wine together and learn about the meaningful metaphor of wine in the Bible: a symbol of life, death, and abundance. Nathan Stucky (practical theologian and Director of Princeton Seminary’s Farminary) will lead us to reflect on wine and the practice of communion through the eyes of a farmer, considering how community, care, and attention frame the way we view this produce and this practice. Lindsey Trozzo (biblical scholar and Associate Director of Digital Learning at Princeton Seminary) will lead us to reflect on how we might read the Bible as wine drinkers, paying attention to subtle layers that bring new insights into how the text might be meaningful for our lives.  Please invite others and sign up here.

Adult Education - Sacred Rhythms - March 31
For Lent, adult education will use a video series, "Sacred Rhythms:  Arranging our Lives for Spiritual Transformation," based on a book by Ruth Haley Barton.  The study will be led by a team of women whose lives have been impacted by "Sacred Rhythms" and are eager to share it.  Join us for the fifth week of this 5 week series on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the Palmer Room.

Mid-Week Morning Worship - April 3
A brief contemplative worship experience will be offered on Wednesday mornings through April 10 from 7:00-7:30 am in the Chapel.

Bible Study with Cedar Park - April 3
We'll have the joy of gathering for Bible study and fellowship with the Cedar Park congregation on Wednesday evenings through April 17.  The topic will be "The Renewing Power of Prayer" and we'll be learning how the Psalms can be models for our own prayers.  This will take place at Cedar Park Presbyterian Church, 7740 Limekiln Pike, Philadelphia (about 10 minutes from Grace) starting at 7:00 pm with a soup supper at 6:30 pm for those who can make it.
