Grace Place
Join us on May 4 when Michael Sperger will take us on a tour of Amsterdam's playgrounds. There are 11 playgrounds per square mile in Amsterdam, the highest density of any major city in the world. The culture prizes independence and the children are encouraged to handle themselves in the world at an early age. Come learn how their playgrounds further that goal. Lunch is served at noon with the program following at 12:45.  Come early and join your Grace Place friends in playing some favorite games, like Rummikub and Scrabble, or working on a jigsaw puzzle.  This is a friendly community of senior citizens and we hope you will join us and bring a friend!
Congregational Meeting
There will be a brief congregational meeting this Sunday, May 6, at 11:30 am in the sanctuary for the purpose of electing officers.

Special Recognition Sunday
What do Jeff Cline, Joe Kiefner, Mimi Craig and Bob MacFarland have in common? All have been members of Grace for fifty years or more! This Sunday, May 6, 2018, we will give special recognition to Jeff, Joe, Mimi, Bob and all of our 50-year members at the 10:30 worship service.  How firm a foundation has been laid for us by those who have loved Grace through all the seasons of her life. Come to worship on Sunday and be inspired by their collective 1500 years of faith, hope and service!

 Adult Education: Family Matters!
Join us this Sunday, May 6, “Trigger: The Ripple Effect of Gun Violence”
Our community, like many across the nation, is impacted by gun violence. The Presbyterian Church (USA) has produced a documentary about gun violence entitled Trigger: The Ripple Effect of Gun ViolenceWe will view Part I of this film in this session. Trigger examines the ripple effect one shooting has on a survivor, a family, a community and a society. It is told from the perspectives of those who have been directly impacted and those who are called daily to respond to this ongoing tragedy. Grace Presbyterian Church is committed to listening to the voices of those who experience the devastation of gun violence, and Trigger provides a starting point for engaging in this critically important conversation.  Click here for a schedule.  Join us to learn more!
