Easter Lily Dedications
On Easter Sunday morning, our Sanctuary will be adorned with beautiful Easter lilies. If you would like to dedicate a lily in memory or honor of a loved one, please complete this dedication form or find one in the church bulletin on Sunday. Dedications are due to the church office by Monday, March 26, to be included in our Easter Sunday bulletin. The lily plants are then delivered to our shut-ins after the 10:30 worship service on Easter Sunday, April 1. If you are able to help deliver a plant or two after the service, please indicate so at the bottom of the dedication form Thanks to all who support our Deacons with these donations and deliveries.
One Great Hour of Sharing
Isaiah 58 describes a new kind of fast, not to give up bread but to share it. Isaiah calls us to “loose the bonds of injustice,” to “let the oppressed go free,” to “share bread with the hungry” and to “invite the homeless poor into our homes.” We are called to offer help to those in need and restoration to those who have been broken down. One way we answer this call is through our gifts to One Great Hour of Sharing. For more information on how you can help visit the table outside of the office.
Come to Grace Place on March 16 and ring color-coded hand bells under the
instruction of Jenifer Eyre. Play along to familiar songs, as Jen holds up
color-coded cards indicating when to play your hand bell. It's super easy
and way fun. No music experience necessary. Come early and join your Grace Place friends in playing some favorite games, like Rummikub and Scrabble, or working on a jigsaw puzzle. Lunch is served at noon and program begins at 12:45. This is a friendly community and we hope you will join us and bring a friend!

Adult Education – Lentflix!
Our Lenten film journey has brought us face-to-face with stories of transformation, covering such topics as racism; incarceration; aging; sacrifice; redemption and a host of other themes. Join us this Friday night at 6 pm for pizza and the film "My Name is Khan," for a look at post-9/11 America through the eyes of a Muslim citizen with Asperger's Syndrome. Click here for a schedule of remaining films in our series.
Telling our Faith Stories - How have we come to define ourselves as Christian? Presbyterian? Were/are there members of our families and communities that have helped us in that journey? On March 18, we’ll continue to fill in our faith stories by exploring our family genograms where we may occasionally uncover some things that we didn’t know about before, including the occasional spiritual wound. Poet Robert Bly believes that one’s spiritual wounds are the source of one’s genius and “… precisely the place from which we will give our major gift to the community.” Come prepared to engage the source of your genius by examining your personal genogram. Wearing sweats encouraged! Click here to learn more.
Spring Forward with Adult Education: Family Matters!
Our next adult education series begins on April 8. In his letter to the church at Philippi, Paul offers these words: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:6-7) What might Paul have to say to those dealing with the anxieties of mental illness, addiction or gun violence? The Adult Education Team seeks to provide a safe environment for families and individuals to learn about these issues and their impact on all of us. Click here for a schedule. Join us to learn more!
Bible Study with Cedar Park
The Grace and Cedar Park congregations will come together again this Lent for Bible study. Pastors Sandy Hull and Janel Dixon will lead us on a journey through Paul’s second letter to Timothy.
