We will have our traditional soup supper in the Palmer Room from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm and then carpool over to the service. You are also welcome to join us for just the service.
Lenten Study Series
We will be partnering with Cedar Park Presbyterian Church for a fve-week Lenten study series entitled, “Get Your Serve On,” that will focus on what it means to heed the Bible’s call to live as servants. Pastor Sandy Hull and Cedar Park’s pastor, Janel Dixon, will be teaching. The same study will be held on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm starting March 7, and on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm starting March 8. Mark your calendars now for a great opportunity for growing. and for getting to know our new friends from Cedar Park.
The men of Grace invite you to join us this Saturday, February 25, at 7:30am in Muysken's Hall for breakfast and fellowship. The lesson will be Acts 17: 16-34. Feel free to invite a friend or anyone you think may enjoy being there.
On Friday, February 24, June Hudson is returning to Grace Place to share and demonstrate the gift of Pilates. If you missed her frst visit, you won’t want to miss her presentation. She will present the basics of Pilates, the exercise system, as well as some background information on the man whom it is named after. Pilates can be done right here at Grace Place without even getting out of our chairs! By the time you leave, you will have found your “powerhouse!” Wear clothing that is comfortable and that you can stretch and reach in. Overly loose or tight clothing can get in the way and impede movement. Be prepared to feel energized and awakened after learning the gentle progression of movements. As Joseph Pilates said, “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”
Men, mark your calendars! The Men’s Retreat is March 3-5, 2017. Please consider joining us for a weekend of fellowship, spiritual renewal, study, fun, and relaxation at the Harvey Cedars Bible Conference. This year our group will focus John Ortberg’s work The Life You Always Wanted. The life that Christ desires of us is indeed the life that we truly want. Through videos and small group discussions, we’ll explore why we should and how we can transform our lives into the manner that Jesus desires. More details to come.
