WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
“I dragged my feet about joining a small group...now I can’t imagine life without it.”
“I’ve been amazed at how close I’ve gotten to the other people in my small group.”
“Studying the Bible in my small group and feeling free to be honest about my questions and doubts—that’s how I’ve really grown spiritually.”
“I hope my small group stays together forever.”
WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
At Grace Presbyterian Church, we’re convinced that small groups provide a unique opportunity for growing in your relationship with God and with other people. Most groups meet in homes, although some may meet at the church or in restaurants or offices. Groups meet either weekly or bi-weekly, at various times of day on various days of the week. When the groups meet, the members:
- Enjoy one another
- Study the Bible together (no prior experience necessary)
- Pray for one another (no prior experience necessary)
HOW TO GET INTO A GROUP
Call the church office at 215-887-6117 or e-mail us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Under the Presbyterian Women's umbrella are an annual Women's Retreat in February, a Women's Sunday Brunch in April, and the Operation Shoe Box Christmas project in November.
MEN'S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
The men of the church meet the second and fourth Saturday mornings at 7:30 AM for breakfast, fellowship, conversation and prayer.
This opportunity for men to be on retreat together usually takes place in the beginning of March at the Harvey Cedars Bible Conference on Long Beach Island.
Grace Place meets each Friday at the Church from 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Palmer Room. Older adults from the church and community at large are welcome to drop in. Over 20 adults each week enjoy gathering for fellowship, card games, table-top games, puzzles, crafts, and singing. A delicious lunch is served, followed by an interesting afternoon program. There is no charge, but there is a voluntary contribution for lunch.
We are always looking for new participants, so please join us. We also need other able-bodied volunteers to help prepare meals, identify and present programs, assist with publicity, and provide transportation. Please call the church office if you are interested in learning more about any of our fellowship activities.
