The Mission Team exists to activate the congregation in serving the least, the last, and the lowest.

Local Hands On Missions

Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry
Their mission is to provide compassionate services to low income residents of Montgomery County, PA
including the distribution of food and clothing at no cost or obligation to our patrons.

How can you help
Look for food collection drives during May and October or contact Marylouise Still.

Interfaith Abington Food Pantry
The Food Cupboard provides a variety of foods to low-income residents of Montgomery County to
reduce food insecurity and improve nutrition.

Wellspring
Each Saturday morning, 52 weeks a year, we serve a hot breakfast, and provide clothing and toiletries to
50-80 people.

How can you help
Join others from Grace the first Saturday of every month, to help serve breakfast and distribute clothing & toiletries to guests. Volunteers (must be over 14 yrs old) leave Grace at 7:45am and return by lunch. For more information, email Tina Hinks.

PIHN (Philadelphia Interfaith Housing Network)
PIHN is an organization that offers supportive services to families affected by homelessness.
How can I help: Host a dinner for homeless families staying at Rhawnhurst Presbyterian Church. Grace
hosts dinners Tuesdays and Thursdays in the months of April and September. This is a wonderful
opportunity for families with children! To volunteer or learn more contact Claire McHugh.

Cornerstone Christian Academy
Their mission is to educate the children of Southwest Philadelphia, including those from at-risk
neighborhoods, in an environment that provides the highest standards for academic achievement and
spiritual development.

How can you help
Workdays at the school are held in January and October. There is also a school collection

The Breathing Room Foundation
Their mission is to provide care and support to local families affected by cancer.

Beacon Church
Beacon is a neighborhood faith community located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia that
strengthens our community, its children and neighbors, through faith, art, and storytelling.

The Philadelphia Project
A ministry that exists to meet the needs of the community. We involve youth in meeting people’s
physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs.

Broad Street Ministries
Broad Street Ministry (“BSM”) is a broad-minded Christian community that cherishes creativity, fosters
and nurtures artistic expression, extends inclusive hospitality and—works for a more just world through
civic engagement.

Amber Interfaith Housing Network
Inter-Faith Housing Alliance’s mission is to serve God by providing charitable services to persons located
in Montgomery County whose life situations have become unstable. These charitable services shall
include homelessness prevention, temporary shelter, guidance in life skills and assistance in locating
appropriate housing opportunities, thus enabling families at risk to remain in or return to independent
living.

International Outreach Programs

Emmanuel Hospital Association - Lalitpur, India
EHA is a fellowship of Christian institutions and individuals that exists to transform communities through
caring, with primary emphasis on the poor and the marginalized.

International Needs – Ghana
International Needs Ghana (INGH) is a Christian development organization which began operations in
Ghana in 1984. INGH is a worldwide partnership of Christian organization fulfilling the commission of
Jesus Christ, supporting each other to see transformed lives, families and communities.

World Vision - Dominican Republic
World Vision is a global Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.
