December 2018

Dear Members and Friends of Grace Presbyterian Church
Grace Church has big plans for 2019!  Grace Changes Lives will start off with a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service and continue monthly meals providing fellowship opportunities, among other new initiatives.  We are excited about these new opportunities for Grace to grow!
As a congregation, you understood the challenge it would be to provide financial support for these plans and for the exceptional new staff that will help us accomplish them.  And you came through!  Through your pledges and special gifts we will be able to fund fully our projected 2019 budget.  People who pledged in 2018 have increased their pledges by an average of 10.6%, and we already have sixteen more pledges for 2019 than for the current year.  We, the Session, are grateful to you for your generosity.  Thank you!  As we grow and build Grace’s family together in Christ, we can all support Grace Changes Lives.
In 2018, we have experienced many changes, celebrated the hard work of two Associate Pastor Nominating Committees and the Music Director Search Committee.  The final stages of the Mission Study and the new staffing brought fresh energy to our Grace.  This was realized in Rise Against Hunger, jazz worship, newfound support for Wellspring, more voices in the choir and ringers in the bell choir, and much more.  God has been with us each step of the way.  As the year comes to a close, we encourage you to fulfill your 2018 pledges and to make special gifts, as the Lord leads, so that we can finish strong.
With blessings to all during this Advent Season,
The Session of Grace Presbyterian Church,
